Senga Oral Bible Translation Project

Senga Oral Bible Translation Project is located in Chama District Eastern Province Zambia. It is the first project for Bible and Literature Translation Association which started in 2019. . It started with the following members of staff listed with their responsibilities: Rev. Frackson Ndhlovu, Team Leader/Exegete/Translation Advisor (TA), Mr Goma Daniel Green, Deputy Team Leader/Translation Advisor (TA), Mrs Bertha Chilembo Shawa, Translator, Mr Francis Milazi, Translator, Miss Suzan Mbuzi, Translator and Mr John Kumwenda, Translator. . With Security Officers as follows: Mr Maina Kabandama, Head Security Officer and Mr Yotam Nyirenda, Security Officer. . The current members of staff with their roles include: A. Main Office: Rev. Goliath Munthali, Team Leader/Exegete/Translation Advisor (TA), Mr Francis Milazi Deputy Team Leader/Translation Advisor (TA), Mr. Ntheye Nyirenda, Translator, Miss Angela Chondoka, Translator, Pr. Gibson Mtonga, Translator and Mrs Esther Kaluba Banda, Translator. With Security Officers as follows: Yotam Nyirenda, Head Security Officer and Komechi Chipeta, Securiy Officer B. Extension Office: Mrs Bertha Chilembo Shawa, Team Leader/Translation Advisor (TA)/Coach Trainer, Rev. John Kumwenda Team Leader/Exegete/Translation Advisor (TA), Mr John Kumwenda, Translator, Miss Thandiwe Mukhalipi, Translator, Mr Bydon Nyirenda, Translator and Mr Aaron Mbuzi With Security Officers as follows: Mr Joseph Chikomazga, Head Security Officer and Mr Komani Goma, Security Officer The project has completed the New Testament which was launched on 12th April, 2025 at Chama Boarding Secondary School in Chama District, Eastern Province of Zambia.
