It was awesome to represent BiLTA at the Global Conference on Oral Bible Translation held in Entebbe, Uganda.

BiLTA, in partnership with Faith Comes by Hearing (FCBH), showcased the Senga documentary filmed in Chama District.

The film served as motivation and encouragement to many smaller language communities seeking to have a Bible in their own mother language.

The struggles and endurance shown by the Senga people in the documentary inspired many experts and practitioners in the Bible translation community to pursue God’s call and assist their own local languages in having a Bible, rather than relying solely on external support.

May I take this opportunity to thank the BiLTA team for their hard work, which has enabled their efforts to be recognized globally by the grace of God.
